Since I use my Necromancer the most, I'll post what I use on him.

Always (some exceptions)
Koss (He's my sword warrior, Jora's my axe and so isn't as good for general fighting)
Dunkoro (Tahlkora is prot, which I suck at making builds for)

Varies (depending on what/where I'm fighting)
Gwen (Interrupts, yes please!)
Margrid the Sly (BHA, yes please!)

Note: I prefer sword to axe for a good reason: [wiki]Crippling Slash[/wiki].

Sabway. If I don't have one of the necros, I replace with Razah/Xandra as healer. Or one of the monks goes LoD/WoH.

I do not run healer heroes much unless I use Sabway (reserved for 4/6 man areas these days). I am a high believer of very heavy physical teams especially in HM where the damage shines over casters.

Edit: It bugs me that any 3 necro build is becomming known as Sab's necro build ¬_¬. He posted a reasonable build with necros and rits ages after it was popular, and now it's hailed as the holy graile of pve :\

Like others I use Sab's triple necro team quite often - I especially use it in places where things are strong against fire (say, against Destroyers). It's a good all around build.

However I normally run with a nearly pure "fire" team. The basis of it is a Searing Flames ele that uses Mark of Rodgort, a Barrage Ranger with a fire bow, and a minion master. I then try and get my main profession to do some type of AoE fire damage (my main title hunter is a dervish so no big deal). In corpse lite area then a ToF paragon is brought in place of a protection monk hench.

I find the latter team works better for nearly all NM areas (LOTS of offense, things rarely have time to kill me) and with a main character that either fills one of the core roles or can add a decent amount of fire AoE damage it works well in most HM areas. In places it doesn't Sab's triple necro is my choice.

Nearly all the heroes get a go from time to time, well at least nearly all the hero professions do. I prefer some models over others - if given the choice I prefer to watch females then males. Then there are places where I use a specialized build - I always use Pyre as a Touch Ranger but that isn't a build I normally roll with though it is *highly* effective in some areas.

Ranger: depends how I'm feeling, recently I've been doing Morghan, Hayda, and Pyre as a spear hucker.

Everyone else: depends on the area mainly.

I mostly use the same hero's on all my chars. shame it may just be 3 (oeps
did it again)

Most of the time I play with my Necro and 9 of the 10 times I use ranger
as seccond on my self and my hero's (yes even the monk)

I play a blood necro with eabon vanguard assasin and pain inverter + pet
Livia is a MM + Pet.
Master of Whisper is SS+mark of Pain + barbs + pet
Ogden is WoH with some others + pet.

This is realy fun! Most of the time (normal mode) I just take 1 more hench healer.
The pets + minnions do enough damage with mark and barbs. As long I keep
the energy running on the hero's its the most pleasant way to play that I
know of.

Depends where I am.
It mostly starts with a bunch of SF/SH eles and MM. Pretty much for the places where stuff just spontaneously combusts when you aggro.
Then the MM turns into a blood or a cursing necro with tons of protection skills - and the eles become warriors or paragons. The warriors are dumber then Devona but I only have one para hero for now so they are still nice to triggers those orders, ancestor's, splinter or warmongers.

I take a curses/death SS/MM/Death Nova necro (Whispers) 15 death 13 curses and sometimes switch between SS and Discord. Then I take a SF Ele (Alcolyte) with Mark of Rodgort and Blood Ritual to keep my necro and monk in energy since he always has plenty using glowing gaze inbetween casts of SF. Then a Healing Monk (Dunkoro) has Word of Healing and some ME skills and a fire weapon to keep them mobs burning inbetween healings. I also run the monk with a shield with +10 vs (whatever common mob we are going up against) mostly +10 slashing though. So monk has good armor defense and we all just stream along really well just the four of us.

Sometimes I take Koss and Malonni just for kicks when I know the zone is pretty easy like the early zones after the docks in Nightfall. Rarely do any of the others get to go especially the assassin or mesmers or rangers cause they just aren't that good as heroes. Sometimes I will take another necro in place of the SF Ele just for some necro army fun as I play a necro as well, mostly curses I don't like keeping up with all those minions and I could never cast death nova as well as Whispers can. But we have a nice supply of curses we through on everything. I sometimes am the blood rititual carrier since the two necros can do a bangup job by themselves most of the time with one doing SS and the other Discord.

My third one I switch a lot now to either Tahlkora, Gwen or Koss though depending on the area I might be lucky enough to put in someone else and get the job done.

Depends on the situation. If I am pugging I can say that most times I use Olias as a Jagged Bones Minion Bomber with myself as SS curses necro. Zhed as either SF or SH and Tahl as protection. If solo I use Olias as above with myself as above. Zhed as above or another type of elementalist and whatever other hero that I feel like taking.

If I'm on my main, my Monk, I'll take Olias as MM, Master as SS, and Livia as N/Rt

Actually I try to take those as most of my chars if I can, unless I don't have Liva, in which case I either take a Ranger or Ele. I pretty much leave the Monk healing up to the henchies (unless on my Monk), they're not too bad at it and it leaves me with more room to take damage dealers I can manipulate.

If I'm on my Ele I tend to go SF and take Zhed as SH, and Acolyte Sousuke as earth Ele with Sandstorm. And I always take an MM (and it's always Olias as he' seems best at it) unless there's not gonna be bodies, and in that case I'll take Koss with Dragon Slash.
